Data We Collect

Island Atlas is designed to be a lightweight, privacy-focused tracker for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide synchronization services:

• Google Account Information: When you use Google Sign-In, we receive your email and basic profile information (name, profile picture) to identify your unique sync profile.
• Gameplay Progress: We store your "Caught" and "Donated" status for museum items (Fish, Bugs, Art, Fossils) and your app settings (Hemisphere, Dark Mode).

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Providing cross-device synchronization via Supabase.
• Backing up your collection progress so it isn't lost if you clear your browser cache.

Island Atlas does not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers. We do not use tracking cookies for marketing.

Third-Party Services

We use the following secure infrastructure to power Island Atlas:

• Vercel: For hosting the application.
• Supabase: For secure database storage and authentication.
• Google OAuth: For secure primary authentication.

Your Rights & Deletion

You maintain full sovereignty over your data. You can delete your entire cloud sync profile at any time through the Settings menu in the application. Deletion is instantaneous and permanent from our servers.
